In our full-range design, the “phase plug” serves to equalize sound waves from the driver to the listener – preventing cancellations and frequency response problems. It mechanically extends the high frequency response by guiding sound waves outward toward the listener rather than allowing them to interact destructively near the driver itself.
When care is taken, they can easily be changed via a simple twist-on threaded mounting method.
Acoustic Art
We artfully hand-craft each plug from compressed layers of fine wood that are then waxed and polished into a smooth surface. Each piece is a one-of-a-kind creation - like snowflakes - no two are identical.
